Quickspin is never short of good news: Jacopo Volpin is now Quickspin’s new Head of Games Production. He started as a mid-level developer eight years ago and quickly proceeded to become a lead and then the development manager.
We asked Jacopo about what he looks most forward to doing in his new role. He said: “My top priority is to further improve how we make our games in terms of both quality and quantity, there’s a delicate balance between the two and Quickspin has always been known for its high quality. We’ll improve our ways of working to make sure we go forward better and stronger and continue making games our players love.”
In his new role Jacopo will be working with both developers and artists, it brings up new opportunities as well as challenges. We asked Jacopo about what lies ahead, he said: “I believe that communication is the key in our work, with my team working in different fields and being based in three different cities, it is the core of our work. I always try to bring out the best in the entire team and to build up trust. We live by Quickspin’s core values, Stay Playful is what we do every day, we have a fun environment, everyone can speak about anything and joke about everything, all the while we have a strong structure and what we take seriously is Quickspin’s core value Always Strive to Improve.”
