Wazdan won Start-Up of the Year at Malta's iGaming Excellence Awards 2018 at the Montekristo Estates last Friday night.
It is another milestone moment following Wazdan's Hot Hit Award in Macao for their new 9 Lions slots game, the dynamic casino supplier has signed a number of the biggest operators over the past 6 months. The awards are accredited by the International Gaming Awards and EU Networking Enterprise.
Malta's iGaming Excellence Awards were created as one of the original and most comprehensive awards events organised for the Gaming industry, and have already been likened to "the Oscars of gaming". The awards event brings the entire industry together to reward and celebrate the companies and individuals that are constantly working to innovate and improve the standards of the iGaming industry.
This was the first time Wazdan had entered Malta's iGaming Excellence Awards, one of the most respected awards in the international gaming industry. The firm was nominated for three awards, Malta's best innovative product company of the year, Malta's best Igaming casino supplier of the year, and, Malta’s Best iGaming B2B Excellence of the Year Award and took home the Start-Up of the Year Award, with major industry key players, regulators, gaming companies and other major participants in this event.
Since the turn of the year the company has been on a snowball of casino signings, awards, product releases and will inaugurate their new European HQ next month with a cocktail mixology night and an international DJ to play a set of music for the invitees at this much anticipated launch event.
