As we wrap up a cracking year at Kalamba Games, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and highlight the key moments that made 2023 truly memorable.
January: A Strong Start and Recognition from Kongebonus
The year commenced with an award nomination from Kongebonus in the Best Joker Slot category for Joker Max: Hit ‘n’ Roll Christmas Edition. Our first Cash Drops promotion went live, spurring huge success for the year, but more on that later – or indeed read all about it here.
February: ICE London Dominates
and Joker Leprechauns Hit ‘n’ Roll Launch
February was dominated by the ICE London event, where Kalamba Games engaged with partners and teased the exclusive details of Megaways™ Duel of the Dead. Meanwhile, Joker Leprechauns Hit ‘n’ Roll was released, and our very own Product Owner Piotr Simon, spent some time speaking to Slots Calendar!
March: Megaways™ Duel of the Dead Unveiled
Kalamba Games unveiled Megaways™ Duel of the Dead, a western-meets-zombies mash-up with unique features like Zombies Go Wild, Duel, and a free spins round—all backed by the famous Megaways™ mechanic. Our Product owner Piotr Simon had a super chatty month, speaking to both Slot Gods and Big Win Board.
April: Joker Rainbows and Mini-Max Family Expand
Joker Rainbows joined the popular series, and two additions to the Mini-Max family, Age of Dragons and Operation Diamond Hunt, were introduced. We were also shortlisted for the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards in the category of Best Game Feature for our very own Cash Drops promotions!
May: Lightning Fortune
and Megaways™ Bushido Princess Take Centre Stage
May brought the release of Lightning Fortune and Megaways™ Bushido Princess. These titles showcased the innovative prowess of Kalamba Games, offering players thrilling experiences with unique features.
June: Summer Teasers and VIP Event on Superyacht
Kalamba Games provided a sneak peek into upcoming releases, including Lightning Fortune and Megaways™ Bushido Princess. A VIP event on the superyacht “Bombay” allowed Kalamba to share insights with valued partners against a wonderful scenic backdrop. We also celebrated all things Italian by partnering with leading operator Lottomatica via Tuko Productions’ aggregation platform.
July: Hyper Blitz Hold and Win, Deep Rush,
and Gold Tracker 7s
July saw the release of Hyper Blitz Hold and Win, a classic-style slot featuring a perfect blend of modern features. Deep Rush marked Kalamba’s entry into the world of crash games, while Gold Tracker 7s offered a thrilling adventure with free spins and multiplier wilds. September: Hold and Win!
Kalamba dazzled players with three Hold and Win releases: Diamond Supreme, Blazing Spirit, and Moonrise Fortunes. The month also teased upcoming Autumn and Winter releases, promising an exciting end to the year.
October: Joker Lanterns Hold and Win and Hell Chef
October spiced things up with Joker Lanterns Hold and Win, adding a seasonal twist to the classic formula. Hell Chef served a devilishly good time in Lucifer’s kitchen, with dynamic reels and engaging features.
November: Allstar 7s and Xmas Lightning Illuminate the Month
As winter approached, Allstar 7s brought a cosmic twist to classic slots, while Xmas Lightning added a festive touch to the reels. November also featured a partner event during the SiGMA conference, strengthening our partnerships and connections within the industry.
